When does the PROTRADENET agreement for Precision Door Service automatically renew each year?

NOW, THEREFORE, for good and valuable consideration, the sufficiency of which is acknowledged by all parties, the parties hereto agree to the following terms and conditions:

- Term and Default. The term of this Agreement shall commence on __________________________ and end on December 31 of this year and the Agreement will automatically renew for an additional one (1) calendar year period each year thereafter, commencing on January 1 of next year and each January 1st thereafter, unless earlier terminated in accordance with this Agreement.
Notwithstanding the foregoing, PROTRADENET may terminate this Agreement at any time, with or without cause, for any reason whatsoever upon providing the other party written notice of intent to terminate the Agreement and this agreement will automatically terminate upon expiration or termination of the franchise agreement by and between Franchisee and Franchisor with no notice of termination required.
In any case, PROTRADENET may terminate this Agreement at any time upon notice to Franchisee if Franchisee is in default of his Franchise Agreement with Franchisor or if Franchisee has failed to comply with the terms and conditions of participation in this Program as set forth in this Agreement, on the website of PROTRADENET or as specified by Franchisor.
Upon any termination of this agreement neither PROTRADENET nor any of its affiliates will have any liability to Franchisee or any other party.

What This Means (2025 FDD)
According to the 2025 Precision Door Service FDD, the PROTRADENET agreement's term begins on a date that must be specified in the agreement and concludes on December 31 of the same year. The agreement then automatically renews for an additional one-year period on January 1 of the following year, and on each subsequent January 1st. This automatic renewal continues unless the agreement is terminated earlier in accordance with its terms.
However, PROTRADENET retains the right to terminate the agreement at any time, with or without cause, by providing written notice to the other party. Additionally, the agreement automatically terminates if the franchise agreement between the franchisee and Precision Door Service expires or is terminated, without requiring any notice of termination.
PROTRADENET can also terminate the agreement if the franchisee defaults on their franchise agreement with Precision Door Service or fails to comply with the terms and conditions of participation in the PROTRADENET program, as outlined in the agreement, on PROTRADENET's website, or as specified by Precision Door Service. Upon termination of the agreement, PROTRADENET and its affiliates bear no liability to the franchisee or any other party.
