The training requirements may vary depending on your experience and other factors specific to the Business. We may, but we are not obligated to, provide you Phase I Training. If we require, you must attend the Phase I Training with your assigned Franchise Consultant or other designated person prior to participating in other training. We will provide the Phase I Training and Phase II Training to you (or, if franchisee is an entity, your designated manager) at no additional cost. You or your designated manager must attend and complete Phase I Training (if we so require), Phase II Training and Field Training to our satisfaction. If you wish to send more trainees to the Phase II Training or the Field Training, you will be required to pay us our then-current training fee per each such additional person (currently, $1,000 to $2,000, depending on the amount of training such person requires, for each additional person for the Phase II Training, and $1,000 per week for each additional person for the Field Training). You must pay all travel, living and miscellaneous expenses for you and your employees while attending training. You will not be compensated for your work at the franchised business and you must pay all your travel, living and miscellaneous or other associated expenses while attending Field Training.

What This Means (2025 FDD)

According to the 2025 Precision Door Service FDD, Precision Door Service may or may not provide Phase I Training to franchisees. Whether or not Precision Door Service provides Phase I Training depends on the franchisee's experience and other factors specific to the business. If Precision Door Service requires it, the franchisee must attend Phase I Training with their assigned Franchise Consultant or other designated person before participating in other training.

Precision Door Service will provide Phase I and Phase II Training to the franchisee (or their designated manager if the franchisee is an entity) at no additional cost. The franchisee or their designated manager must attend and complete Phase I Training (if required), Phase II Training, and Field Training to Precision Door Service's satisfaction. If the franchisee wishes to send more trainees to Phase II Training or Field Training, they will be required to pay Precision Door Service's then-current training fee per additional person. Currently, the fee is $1,000 to $2,000 for each additional person for Phase II Training, depending on the amount of training required, and $1,000 per week for each additional person for Field Training.

The franchisee is responsible for all travel, living, and miscellaneous expenses for themselves and their employees while attending training. All Phase I and II Training occurs at Precision Door Service's offices in Titusville, Florida, or at such other locations as they may designate, or via webinar/video conferencing. Phase II Training generally lasts 5 days, but the training time may vary depending upon the knowledge, qualifications, and experience of the franchisee. Franchisees will also be required to attend Field Training, which includes visiting the office of a designated existing franchised business selected by Precision Door Service for a period of 1 to 5 days to observe the office and field processes and procedures, although the training may be conducted virtually. Franchisees will not be compensated for their work at the franchised business and must pay all their travel, living, and miscellaneous or other associated expenses while attending Field Training.

For a resale/transfer, the franchisee will be required to complete the initial training program, although Precision Door Service may modify the training based on the circumstances if the franchisee is a transferee/buyer and has signed a Buyer Commitment Agreement.
