What This Means (2025 FDD)

According to Precision Door Service's 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, the obligation to pay the MAP (Marketing, Advertising, and Promotion) Fee begins when Precision Door Service implements the MAP Fee. The franchisee must then pay the MAP Fee each month as specified in Section 8.D of the agreement. The MAP Fee is a percentage of Gross Sales, with the specific percentage detailed in the Data Sheet.

Section 8.D specifies that all payments of the License Fees and MAP Fees are due to Precision Door Service by the 5th of each month for the month just ended. This means that once the MAP Fee is implemented, franchisees will be required to make monthly payments by the 5th of the following month.

It is important for prospective franchisees to review the Data Sheet to understand the exact percentage of Gross Sales required for the MAP Fee. Additionally, franchisees should clarify with Precision Door Service when the MAP Fee will be implemented to properly budget and plan for this ongoing expense.
