year, depending on the number of new franchisees entering our franchise system. The Phase II Training will generally last 5 days but training time may vary depending upon the knowledge, qualifications, and experience of the franchisee (Franchise Agreement § 4.1). In addition, you will be required to attend Field Training, which includes visiting the office of a designated existing franchised business selected by us for a period of 1 to 5 days to observe the office and field processes and procedures (although the training may be conducted virtually). You will not be compensated for your work at the franchised business and you must pay all your travel, living and miscellaneous or other associated expenses while attending Field Training.

If this is a resale/transfer, you will be required to complete the initial training program, although we may modify the training based on the circumstances in the event you are a transferee/buyer and have signed a Buyer Commitment Agreement.

Any training provided by us to any of your workers will be limited to training or guidance regarding the delivery of approved services to clients in a manner that reflects the customer and client service standards of the System. You are, and will remain, the sole employer of your employees at all times, including during all training programs, and you are solely responsible for all_employment decisions and actions related to your workers. You are solely responsible for ensuring that your workers receive adequate training.

What This Means (2025 FDD)

According to Precision Door Service's 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, Phase II Training generally lasts for 5 days. However, the training time may vary depending on the franchisee's knowledge, qualifications, and experience. This training takes place at Precision Door Service's offices in Titusville, Florida, or at other designated locations, or via webinar/video conferencing. These trainings occur at various times throughout the year, depending on the number of new franchisees entering the Precision Door Service system.

In addition to Phase II Training, franchisees are also required to attend Field Training, which involves visiting an existing franchised business for 1 to 5 days to observe operations. Franchisees are responsible for all travel, living, and miscellaneous expenses incurred during both Phase II and Field Training. If a franchisee wishes to send additional trainees to Phase II or Field Training, they will be required to pay a training fee, which currently ranges from $1,000 to $2,000 for Phase II and $1,000 per week for Field Training, per additional person.

Prospective franchisees should consider the time commitment and associated costs for both Phase II and Field Training, as these are mandatory components of the initial training program. The variability in training duration based on individual experience highlights the importance of assessing one's own skill set and preparation before entering the franchise system. Additionally, the potential for remote training via webinar/video conferencing could reduce travel expenses, but this is not guaranteed and may depend on Precision Door Service's discretion.
