What This Means (2025 FDD)
According to Precision Door Service's 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, the initial franchise fee is due in full when you sign the franchise agreement. The initial franchise fee ranges from $75,000 to $150,000, dependent on the territory size, which typically includes between 150,000 and 300,000 single-family home one unit detached (SFHUD) properties. The fee is calculated at a rate of $0.50 for each SFHUD within the territory.
Precision Door Service may offer financing for a portion of the initial franchise fee, contingent on your creditworthiness, available collateral, and the company's current financing policies. The specific amount of monthly payments would depend on the financed amount. Item 5 of the FDD provides further details on potential discounts to the initial franchise fee, while Item 10 contains more information about financing options, and Item 12 details territory specifics.
For PE Owners entering into a Development Agreement, the initial franchise fee for each franchise developed is the standard fee (i.e., $0.50 per SFHUD), and is due upon execution of each Franchise Agreement. The first Franchise Agreement is executed simultaneously with the Development Agreement. Note that all payments to Precision Door Service are generally non-refundable, except as described in Item 5.
