What This Means (2025 FDD)
According to the 2025 Precision Door Service Franchise Disclosure Document, the term 'Confidential Information' includes computer systems, technology, and software programs. This means that the specific computer systems, technology and software programs that a Precision Door Service franchisee uses are considered proprietary and confidential to the Precision Door Service business.
As a franchisee, you are obligated to protect this information and keep it confidential. This obligation extends to training materials, customer databases, sales and marketing techniques, and knowledge of operating systems, all of which are considered confidential information related to the Precision Door Service business.
This definition underscores the importance of maintaining the confidentiality of Precision Door Service's operational and technological assets. Franchisees should be aware that unauthorized disclosure or use of these systems and programs could have legal and financial repercussions, as it is a breach of the franchise agreement.
