Since 1999, we and/or our predecessors have offered franchises that provide garage door repair, service and installation services and other related services and products pursuant to certain standards and

specifications. We offer these franchises as "start-ups," or you have the option to convert an existing business into a Business. We do not own or operate Precision Garage Door ServiceTM businesses. We have not offered franchises in any other line of business nor engaged in any other activity.

What This Means (2025 FDD)

According to the 2025 Precision Door Service FDD, franchisees have the option to start a new business or convert an existing one to a Precision Door Service franchise. The FDD states that with Precision Door Service's approval, a franchisee may convert an existing business offering similar services to a Precision Door Service Business.

Converting an existing business allows entrepreneurs already in the garage door service industry to leverage Precision Door Service's brand recognition, operational systems, and marketing strategies. This can potentially lead to a faster business growth compared to starting a new business from scratch. The franchise agreement included in the disclosure document may change over time, potentially affecting fees, obligations, and the terms and conditions for obtaining a franchise, which could be less favorable compared to previous versions.

However, the FDD also notes that uniformity of franchise agreements among franchisees may not always be possible or practical. Precision Door Service may offer franchise agreements with materially different terms to other franchisees, and they are not obligated to disclose these variations or grant similar variations to new franchisees. Therefore, prospective franchisees should carefully review the franchise agreement and related agreements to understand the specific terms and conditions applicable to their situation.
