Neither we nor the Manager will use any of the advertising funds for the solicitation of franchise sales, but any marketing materials the Manager produces may designate "Franchises Available."

What This Means (2025 FDD)
According to the 2025 Precision Door Service Franchise Disclosure Document, the advertising funds, specifically the MAP Fund, will not be used for the direct solicitation of franchise sales. However, marketing materials produced by the Manager of the MAP Fund may designate "Franchises Available." This means that while the primary purpose of the advertising fund is to promote the services of existing Precision Door Service franchises, the marketing materials can include a general statement that franchise opportunities are available.
This policy ensures that the MAP Fund, which franchisees contribute to (2% of monthly Gross Sales), is primarily used to support the existing franchise network through marketing and advertising initiatives. The Manager of the MAP Fund has broad discretion in how the funds are used for marketing purposes, including broadcast, print, and digital advertising, creation of promotional materials, and marketing research and development. The Manager also oversees advertising programs and uses the MAP Fund to create marketing materials and conduct national, regional, or local advertising.
For a prospective franchisee, this means that the advertising fees they pay are intended to directly benefit their business by increasing brand awareness and driving customer leads. While the advertising materials may mention that franchises are available, the funds are not used for direct franchise sales efforts. This arrangement is fairly typical in franchising, as advertising funds are generally meant to support existing franchisees, while franchise sales are funded separately by the franchisor.
