RCW 49.62.060 prohibits us from restricting, restraining, or prohibiting you from (i) soliciting or hiring any employee of you of the same franchisor or (ii) soliciting or hiring any employee of us.
As a result, any such provisions contained in the Franchise Agreement or elsewhere are void and unenforceable in Washington.

What This Means (2025 FDD)
According to the 2025 Petro Stopping Center Franchise Disclosure Document, Petro Stopping Center is prohibited from restricting a franchisee in Washington from soliciting or hiring employees of either the franchisee or Petro Stopping Center itself.
Specifically, the FDD states that RCW 49.62.060 prohibits Petro Stopping Center from restricting, restraining, or prohibiting a franchisee from (i) soliciting or hiring any employee of the franchisee of the same franchisor or (ii) soliciting or hiring any employee of Petro Stopping Center.
