What This Means (2025 FDD)

According to Petro Stopping Center's 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, Petro Stopping Center may require franchisees to provide content for use in e-commerce activities. Petro Stopping Center maintains control over all aspects of a franchisee's e-commerce activities.

Specifically, Petro Stopping Center can mandate that franchisees supply graphical, photographic, written, or other artistic or literary content. This content would be used in e-commerce activities associated with Petro Stopping Center's marks or the Petro System. This gives Petro Stopping Center significant control over the brand's online presence and marketing.

This requirement means a franchisee must be prepared to create and provide content as directed by Petro Stopping Center. Failure to comply with these requests could result in a breach of the franchise agreement. The franchisee may also be required to coordinate e-commerce activities and participate in Intranet Systems at their own expense.
