What This Means (2025 FDD)
According to the 2025 Petro Stopping Center Franchise Disclosure Document, Petro Stopping Center will provide an opening team to assist franchisees. This team will be available for up to two weeks after the Petro Stopping Center opens.
In addition to the opening team, Petro Stopping Center also provides initial and ongoing assistance to franchisees during the operation of their Petro Center. This includes advising on various aspects such as purchasing required items, types of services and products, approved suppliers, advertising and marketing programs, and training in the Petro System and its standards.
Prior to the opening date, Petro Stopping Center will also send trainers to the site to assist in training personnel regarding the Petro System and Petro System Standards. However, the franchisee is responsible for reimbursing Petro Stopping Center for the actual costs associated with this training and opening assistance, including wages, travel, and living expenses of the trainers. This is a fairly standard practice in franchising, where the franchisor provides initial support but the franchisee bears the direct costs.
