13.5 Promotion of the Franchise System. We may require you to place in the manner designated by us any and all materials, including point of purchase materials, promoting the Petro System that we from time to time provide to you. You will use your best efforts to advance the reputation of Petro Centers in order to increase the goodwill of the Marks. You must participate in all then-current promotions, marketing and new product or service programs, as made available from time to time by us (the "Promotional Programs"). These Promotional Programs may have additional charges. We have the right to establish or eliminate Promotional Programs, in our sole discretion.

Franchisees acknowledge that Petro Stopping Center's advertising activities aim to maximize recognition of the Marks and patronage of Petro Centers, although there is no obligation to ensure that advertising expenditures are proportionate to a franchisee's Monthly Advertising Fee payments or that any Petro Center will benefit directly or in proportion to its fees.

Franchisees must ensure that any local advertising, promotion, and marketing they conduct is clear, factual, not misleading, and conforms to ethical marketing standards and Petro Stopping Center's promotion policies. Petro Stopping Center reserves the right to inspect and approve or disapprove all advertising, promotional, and marketing materials and campaigns. Additionally, franchisees must adhere to Petro Stopping Center's policies and procedures for e-commerce, including customer referrals, and may be required to provide content for e-commerce activities associated with the Marks or the Petro System.
