What This Means (2025 FDD)
According to the 2025 FDD, the monthly advertising fee for a Petro Stopping Center is subject to annual adjustments. Initially, the franchisee must pay a monthly advertising fee of $3,000, starting the first full calendar month after the opening date.
On January 1st of each calendar year, Petro Stopping Center will increase the monthly advertising fee based on the CPI Adjustment. This means the fee can increase to account for inflation or changes in the cost of goods and services.
However, the FDD stipulates that the monthly advertising fee will never be less than the current fee, even upon renewal of the franchise agreement. This ensures that the advertising fee will either increase or remain the same, but it will never decrease.
