Answer from 2025 FDD Document

You must also have managers, as specified in the Manuals, who directly supervise and control the Petro Center on a day-to-day basis. You must keep Petro Franchise informed of the identities of your manager(s) within seven days of their becoming manager(s). Your managers need not have any equity in the franchisee. The managers and their replacements must successfully and promptly complete all of our training programs.

What This Means (2025 FDD)

According to Petro Stopping Center's 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, managers are required to successfully and promptly complete all of the franchisor's training programs. These managers are responsible for the day-to-day supervision and control of the Petro Center. The franchisee must inform Petro Franchise of the identities of their managers within seven days of their appointment.

Training is mandatory for Petro Stopping Center managers. The initial training will be conducted at times and locations designated by Petro Franchise, but will not begin any sooner than the 30th day after signing the Franchise Agreement. Management training ranges from 5-28 business days in duration at a place Petro Franchise designates. The franchisee or their manager must complete the training program to Petro Franchise's specifications.

Petro Franchise may also require the franchisee, the Managing Owner, or the Petro Center managers to attend periodic training courses or training conferences at designated times and locations, at the franchisee's expense. These additional trainings will provide necessary updates regarding the Petro System and Petro System Standards. Petro Franchise may also provide additional voluntary training that the franchisee or other persons may take at their option, and Petro Franchise may charge their then-current fees for this additional training.
