What This Means (2025 FDD)

According to Petro Stopping Center's 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, the initial franchise fee for a Petro Center franchise is $130,000. This fee is payable in a lump sum when the Franchise Agreement is signed. The FDD specifies that this fee is nonrefundable and is fully earned by Petro Stopping Center upon payment.

Notably, Petro Stopping Center offers a reduced initial franchise fee for franchisees who acquire multiple locations. The initial franchise fee for the second and third Petro Center franchises is reduced by $25,000, bringing the fee down to $105,000, provided the franchisee is in compliance with all existing Franchise Agreements. For the fourth and subsequent Petro Center franchises, the initial franchise fee is further reduced by $50,000, resulting in a fee of $80,000, again contingent on compliance with all Franchise Agreements.

This tiered fee structure incentivizes existing franchisees to expand their operations with Petro Stopping Center. It is a fairly common practice in the franchise industry to offer discounted fees for multi-unit owners as a reward for their commitment and success within the system. Prospective franchisees should carefully consider these potential savings when evaluating the long-term investment in multiple Petro Stopping Center locations.
