What This Means (2025 FDD)
According to Pearce Bespoke's 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, a transferee-franchisee must successfully complete the franchisor's training program as a condition of the transfer. The franchisor may communicate directly with the transferee during the transfer process to ensure they meet Pearce Bespoke's qualifications.
Specifically, the FDD states that one of the conditions for the transfer of a Pearce Bespoke franchise is that "The transferee-franchisee successfully completes Franchisor's training program". This requirement ensures that the new franchisee is adequately prepared to operate the business according to Pearce Bespoke standards.
In addition to completing the training program, the transferee-franchisee must also enter into a written agreement with Pearce Bespoke, agreeing to assume all of the previous franchisee's obligations for the remainder of the term. Alternatively, at Pearce Bespoke's option, the transferee may be required to execute the then-current standard form of franchise agreement. The transferee-franchisee must also not be a competitor of Pearce Bespoke and must meet the franchisor's managerial, financial, and business standards for new franchisees.
