Can the third-party vendor for the Pearce Bespoke POS System be modified?
Pearce_Bespoke Franchise · 2025 FDDAnswer from 2025 FDD Document
You must license the POS/CRM software and purchase the computer hardware components for the POS System (the "POS System") either from us or a third-party vendor which may be modified from time to time in the Manuals.
Pearce Bespoke retains the sole and absolute discretion to make the final determination on all Approved Suppliers, however, we will consider supplier approval requests from franchisees upon written request. We will approve or disapprove a supplier within 30 days after we receive written notice from you. All suppliers you use must be approved by us before you can use them and may be subject to our training and reporting requirements.

What This Means (2025 FDD)
According to Pearce Bespoke's 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, franchisees must license the POS/CRM software and purchase the computer hardware components for the POS System from either Pearce Bespoke or a third-party vendor. The FDD states that this third-party vendor may be modified from time to time in the Manuals. This indicates that while franchisees are generally required to use the approved POS system, Pearce Bespoke retains the right to change the approved vendor for the system.
This flexibility in vendor selection could be beneficial for Pearce Bespoke, allowing them to adapt to changing technology or negotiate better deals with different vendors. However, it also means that franchisees may be required to switch POS systems or hardware if Pearce Bespoke decides to change vendors. This could involve additional costs for new equipment, software licenses, and training.
While Pearce Bespoke retains discretion over approved suppliers, they will consider supplier approval requests from franchisees upon written request. Pearce Bespoke will approve or disapprove a supplier within 30 days after they receive written notice from the franchisee. All suppliers used must be approved by Pearce Bespoke before they can be used and may be subject to training and reporting requirements.
Prospective franchisees should inquire about the frequency with which Pearce Bespoke has changed POS system vendors in the past, the typical costs associated with such changes, and the process for franchisees to request approval of alternative vendors. Understanding these factors will help franchisees better assess the potential risks and costs associated with the POS system requirements.
