What This Means (2025 FDD)
According to the 2025 Pearce Bespoke Franchise Disclosure Document, the franchisee is responsible for the expenses associated with changes or amendments to the Marks. Specifically, if Pearce Bespoke determines it is advisable or necessary to make changes to the Marks, the franchisee must, upon written notice from Pearce Bespoke, immediately make the required changes at their own expense. The franchisee cannot make any changes to the Marks or Business System unless directed by Pearce Bespoke in writing.
This means that if Pearce Bespoke decides to update its logo, branding, or any other aspect of its Marks, the franchisee will bear the financial burden of implementing those changes in their own business. This could include updating signage, marketing materials, and other branded items.
This requirement is fairly standard in franchising, as franchisors need to maintain brand consistency across all locations. However, it's important for prospective Pearce Bespoke franchisees to factor in these potential costs when evaluating the investment, as these changes could occur at any time during the franchise term and represent an unbudgeted expense.
