You may not sell or accept in trade any custom clothing or any products that you believe may be stolen or that have been recalled, are knowingly counterfeit, or are otherwise not safe upon inspection. What This Means (2025 FDD)
According to the 2025 Pearce Bespoke Franchise Disclosure Document, a franchisee is generally prohibited from selling or accepting custom clothing in trade. The FDD states that franchisees "may not sell or accept in trade any custom clothing".
This restriction is in place to maintain quality control and consistency across all Pearce Bespoke franchise locations. By limiting the types of products franchisees can offer, Pearce Bespoke aims to ensure that customers receive a uniform experience regardless of the specific franchise they visit. This restriction extends to products that a franchisee believes may be stolen, recalled, counterfeit, or unsafe upon inspection.
In addition to the restriction on selling and trading custom clothing, Pearce Bespoke franchisees are also prohibited from selling new apparel, and may only sell new accessories. Franchisees are also required to use only approved advertising and promotional materials. These restrictions are further detailed in Item 16 of the Franchise Disclosure Document.
