What This Means (2025 FDD)
According to Nothing Bundt Cakes' 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, once a prospective franchisee submits all the required information and materials for a proposed site, Nothing Bundt Cakes will use reasonable efforts to review and either accept or reject the site within thirty (30) days.
It is important to note that the franchisee is responsible for locating, evaluating, and selecting the bakery site. Nothing Bundt Cakes does not search for or select the site for the franchisee. Nothing Bundt Cakes will provide its current criteria for bakery sites to assist the franchisee in their selection process, including factors such as population density, demographic characteristics, visibility, traffic flow, competition, accessibility, size, and other physical and commercial characteristics.
Nothing Bundt Cakes retains the absolute right to reject any site that does not meet their criteria. They may also require the franchisee to acknowledge in writing if a chosen site, while acceptable, is not recommended due to incompatibility with certain factors affecting its suitability. The franchisee cannot proceed with a site that Nothing Bundt Cakes has not accepted. Additionally, any lease or sublease must be sent to Nothing Bundt Cakes for written acceptance, which they will not unreasonably withhold, before it is signed.
