What This Means (2025 FDD)
According to the 2025 Nothing Bundt Cakes FDD, Nothing Bundt Cakes is not required to approve an unreasonable number of suppliers for any single item. The FDD states that Nothing Bundt Cakes retains the right to limit the number of approved suppliers if, in their reasonable judgment, doing so might lead to increased costs or hinder the effective and economical supervision of these suppliers.
This stipulation provides Nothing Bundt Cakes with the flexibility to manage its supply chain efficiently and maintain quality control. By not being obligated to approve an excessive number of suppliers, Nothing Bundt Cakes can ensure that it can adequately oversee the approved suppliers, negotiate favorable pricing, and maintain consistent product standards across all franchise locations.
For a prospective franchisee, this means that while they may have some input or suggestions regarding suppliers, the ultimate decision rests with Nothing Bundt Cakes.
