What This Means (2025 FDD)
According to Nothing Bundt Cakes' 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, the initial franchise fee is $45,000. This fee is required when signing the Franchise Agreement and is deemed fully earned and non-refundable upon payment. This fee is generally uniform to all franchisees. Nothing Bundt Cakes does not offer financing for this initial franchise fee.
If a franchisee signs a Development Rights Rider to develop multiple bakeries in a designated area, the initial franchise fee remains $45,000 for the second and each subsequent Nothing Bundt Cakes bakery to be developed under the rider. However, the franchisee must pay a deposit equal to 50% of the initial franchise fee for each additional bakery they commit to develop. The balance of the initial franchise fee for each bakery is due when the franchisee signs the franchise agreement for that specific bakery.
In the event that a franchisee does not fulfill their development obligations under the Development Rights Rider, the fees paid are fully earned by Nothing Bundt Cakes and are non-refundable. However, each time the franchisee signs a franchise agreement for another Nothing Bundt Cakes bakery to be developed within the Development Area, Nothing Bundt Cakes will apply the deposit related to that bakery toward the initial franchise fee due for that bakery.
