What This Means (2025 FDD)
According to the 2025 Nothing Bundt Cakes Franchise Disclosure Document, the initial franchise fee for the second and each subsequent bakery developed under a Rider agreement is $45,000. This fee is payable when signing the franchise agreement for each additional location.
When a franchisee commits to developing multiple Nothing Bundt Cakes bakeries, they sign a Rider agreement. Upon signing this Rider, a deposit equal to 50% of the initial franchise fee ($22,500) is required for each additional bakery. The remaining balance of $22,500 for each bakery is then due when the individual franchise agreement for that location is signed.
This multi-unit development approach allows Nothing Bundt Cakes to expand strategically with committed franchisees. However, franchisees should be aware that the franchise agreement for each new location may differ from the initial agreement. Franchisees must also adhere to a development schedule and operational standards to maintain their rights under the Rider.
