What This Means (2025 FDD)
According to Nothing Bundt Cakes' 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, the training fee for additional or replacement operators is $2,500 per person, plus expenses. However, this fee could increase if Nothing Bundt Cakes' costs increase.
This means that if the expenses incurred by Nothing Bundt Cakes to provide training, such as trainer salaries, training materials, or facility costs, go up, they reserve the right to pass those increased costs onto the franchisee. The franchisee is also responsible for all expenses the trainee incurs, including travel, lodging, meals, and applicable wages.
Additionally, the fee for additional training or assistance during the franchise term is currently $300 per trainer per day plus expenses for training at Nothing Bundt Cakes' location, or $500 per day plus expenses for training in the franchisee's territory. This fee could also increase if Nothing Bundt Cakes' costs increase. A day is defined as 8 hours of work at the location, with travel time billed separately on an hourly basis. These fees are in addition to the initial training provided for two people at no additional cost, as detailed in Item 11. Franchisees must always have a full-time operator certified by Nothing Bundt Cakes to operate the Bakery.
