What This Means (2025 FDD)
According to the 2025 Nothing Bundt Cakes FDD, franchisees are required to have a functioning email address. This is so that Nothing Bundt Cakes can send notices and other electronic communications to the franchisee.
In addition to having a functioning email address, franchisees must install the designated Point of Sale (POS) system, which includes hardware and software components such as terminals, communication software, monitors, printers, and payment processing software. The POS system that Nothing Bundt Cakes designates includes a proprietary software application that records and reports all sales, payments, discounts, inventories, purchases, and accounting data.
Furthermore, Nothing Bundt Cakes franchisees must maintain high-speed internet access and grant Nothing Bundt Cakes full and direct electronic access to all data, software systems, security camera footage, and related information. Franchisees are also required to participate in any System-wide computer network, intranet system, or extranet system that Nothing Bundt Cakes implements.
