You must have and maintain adequate hardware and software in order to access the Internet at the bit speed we require from time to time.
We require you to maintain high-speed internet access, and we reserve the right to have independent access to any data you collect electronically. You must install, at your expense, the necessary computer hardware and software to provide us with full and direct electronic access to all of your data, software systems, security camera footage, and related information.
You must participate in any System-wide computer network, intranet system or extranet system that we implement and may be required to use such networks to, among other things: (i) process Guest orders for fulfillment; (ii) submit reports to us; (iii) view and print updates to or portions of the Operations Manual; (iv) download approved local advertising materials; (v) communicate with us and other System franchisees; and (vi) complete training.

What This Means (2025 FDD)
According to Nothing Bundt Cakes' 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, franchisees must have and maintain adequate hardware and software to access the Internet at the bit speed that Nothing Bundt Cakes requires from time to time.
Nothing Bundt Cakes also requires franchisees to maintain high-speed internet access and install the necessary computer hardware and software to provide them with full and direct electronic access to all data, software systems, security camera footage, and related information. This access allows Nothing Bundt Cakes to independently access the information generated by the computer system without compensating the franchisee. They may also share revenue and other data concerning the franchisee's Bakery with other franchisees in the System.
Additionally, franchisees must participate in any System-wide computer network, intranet system, or extranet system that Nothing Bundt Cakes implements. Franchisees may be required to use these networks to process guest orders, submit reports, view updates to the Operations Manual, download advertising materials, communicate with Nothing Bundt Cakes and other franchisees, and complete training. Franchisees must use these systems in compliance with the standards and restrictions outlined in the Operations Manual.
