What This Means (2025 FDD)
According to Nothing Bundt Cakes's 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, if you plan to develop multiple bakeries within a designated development area, you must submit a separate application for each Nothing Bundt Cakes Bakery you intend to develop. This requirement applies whether you, as the franchisee, or an approved affiliate is undertaking the development.
This process allows Nothing Bundt Cakes to assess each proposed location individually. The company does not locate or select the site for you; you are responsible for finding, evaluating, and selecting the location for each bakery. Nothing Bundt Cakes will provide its current criteria for bakery sites, including factors like population density, demographics, visibility, traffic flow, competition, accessibility, size, and other physical and commercial characteristics.
Furthermore, you must provide Nothing Bundt Cakes with all requested information and materials to evaluate each proposed site. Nothing Bundt Cakes retains the right to reject any site that does not meet its criteria or to require a written acknowledgment if a chosen site is not recommended. Additionally, any lease or sublease governing the occupancy of the bakery site requires written acceptance from Nothing Bundt Cakes before it is signed. This ensures that each location aligns with Nothing Bundt Cakes's standards and has the potential for success.
