What This Means (2025 FDD)
According to the 2025 Noodles & Company Franchise Disclosure Document, franchisees must purchase or lease fixtures, furniture, equipment, signs, and supplies that meet Noodles & Company's standards and specifications. These standards cover quality, design, warranties, appearance, function, and performance.
Noodles & Company requires franchisees to buy or lease these items only from approved suppliers. This ensures consistency and quality across all franchise locations. The list of approved suppliers, types, brands, and models may be modified by Noodles & Company from time to time, and franchisees must adhere to these changes after receiving notice.
If a franchisee wants to purchase fixtures, furniture, equipment, signs, or supplies that are not already approved, they must notify Noodles & Company and submit any requested information for approval, as detailed in Section 9 of the franchise agreement. This process allows Noodles & Company to maintain control over the brand's image and operational standards while also considering new products or suppliers proposed by franchisees.
