What This Means (2025 FDD)
Based on the 2025 Noodles & Company Franchise Disclosure Document, while it does specify compliance with laws and regulations, it does not explicitly state that a franchisee must designate a specific role for security and compliance matters. The FDD does emphasize the importance of adhering to all applicable laws and maintaining required licenses and permits. Franchisees are obligated to notify Noodles & Company immediately of any legal or administrative actions or notices of violation that could affect their restaurant's operation or financial condition.
Noodles & Company franchisees must operate their restaurants in full compliance with all applicable laws, ordinances, and regulations, including those related to the sale of beer and wine, if applicable. They are also required to maintain all necessary licenses, permits, and certificates. Furthermore, franchisees must inform Noodles & Company in writing about any legal or administrative actions or notices of violation that could impact the restaurant's operations or financial status.
While the FDD outlines the franchisee's responsibility to comply with laws and regulations, it does not detail a specific designated role for overseeing these matters. A prospective franchisee should inquire with Noodles & Company about whether a specific position or individual is required to handle security and compliance, and if so, what the specific responsibilities and qualifications for that role would be.
