What This Means (2025 FDD)
According to the 2025 Noodles & Company Franchise Disclosure Document, every shift at a Noodles & Company restaurant must be covered by a suitably trained manager or shift supervisor. This ensures that there is always someone on-site with the knowledge and authority to handle any issues that may arise.
To meet this requirement, Noodles & Company franchisees must ensure that either the Operating Partner, an on-site general or assistant manager, or a shift supervisor who has completed the appropriate training programs is present during all operating hours. This individual is responsible for overseeing the restaurant's operations and ensuring that it meets Noodles & Company's standards.
This requirement highlights the importance Noodles & Company places on having qualified leadership present at all times. It also means that franchisees need to invest in training their managers and shift supervisors to ensure they are capable of handling their responsibilities. This may involve additional costs for training programs and employee compensation, but it is essential for maintaining the quality and consistency of the Noodles & Company brand.
