What This Means (2025 FDD)
According to the 2025 Noodles & Company Franchise Disclosure Document, Noodles & Company will furnish franchisees with their site selection criteria and will provide on-site evaluations of proposed sites as they deem necessary or appropriate. However, the approval of a site does not constitute a warranty or representation of any kind as to the suitability of the premises. The franchisee's decision to develop and operate a Noodles & Company restaurant is based solely on their own independent investigation of the site's suitability.
Noodles & Company requires franchisees to submit a complete Site Package containing all information reasonably required for each proposed site that meets their standard site selection criteria. This package is submitted in a format defined by Noodles & Company for presentation to the Real Estate Site Approval Committee. Franchisees are responsible for submitting their sites for approval at least one week prior to the committee's meetings, which occur approximately every two weeks. Franchisees are required to attend these meetings or participate via conference call.
Noodles & Company will approve or reject each site within 45 days after receiving the complete Site Package and any other requested materials. In deciding whether to approve a site, Noodles & Company may consider factors such as the general location, neighborhood, demographic information, traffic patterns, access, visibility, site economics, the location of other retail food establishments, and the size, condition, trade dress, configuration, and appearance of the site. The Site Approval Form, duly executed by Noodles & Company, is the exclusive means by which they approve a proposed site.
