What This Means (2025 FDD)
According to Noodles & Company's 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, Noodles & Company has the option to provide accounting services for marketing cooperatives. Noodles & Company may elect to provide accounting services for any cooperatives at market rates or select a third-party accounting firm to supply this service. The cooperative is responsible for paying the costs of these accounting services upon receiving an invoice.
This means that if a Noodles & Company franchisee participates in a marketing cooperative, Noodles & Company can choose to offer accounting services to that cooperative. This could be a benefit to the cooperative, as Noodles & Company would already be familiar with the financial aspects of the franchise system. Alternatively, Noodles & Company can outsource the accounting to a third-party firm.
It is important to note that the cooperative is responsible for covering the costs of these accounting services, regardless of whether Noodles & Company or a third-party firm provides them. This cost would be in addition to other cooperative contributions required of the franchisee. Prospective franchisees should inquire about the typical costs of these accounting services to factor them into their financial planning.
