According to Noodles & Company's 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, franchisees gain access to an internal app platform called "The Binder," which is powered by PlayerLync and operated on an iPad. This platform provides access to the electronic Operations Manual and other helpful information. Franchisees are responsible for providing the iPad hardware based on the platform's requirements.

The payment structure for accessing "The Binder" involves a system cost that is charged on a per-device, per-month basis. In addition to the monthly access fees, franchisees are solely responsible for any access license fees associated with using the portal. They must also obtain all necessary hardware and software required for access, including the iPad.

This arrangement means that franchisees will incur ongoing monthly costs for each device accessing "The Binder," along with the initial investment in the iPad hardware and any required software. It is important for prospective franchisees to factor these technology costs into their overall budget when considering a Noodles & Company franchise. Understanding the specific monthly fees and hardware requirements is crucial for accurate financial planning.
