What This Means (2025 FDD)

According to Noodles & Company's 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, if Noodles & Company plans a special promotion, including regional promotions, they must provide the franchisee or their cooperative with 30 days' notice. This notice period allows franchisees time to prepare for the promotion and to pay any special promotion marketing fees associated with it. These fees are in addition to the standard marketing expenditures required by the franchise agreement.

This requirement ensures that Noodles & Company franchisees have adequate time to adjust their marketing strategies and budgets to accommodate any special promotions initiated by the franchisor. It also allows franchisees to participate effectively in the promotion and maximize its potential benefits. The franchisee is obligated to participate in the special promotion once the notice period has passed.

It is important to note that these special promotion marketing fees are separate from, and do not count towards, the franchisee's regular marketing expenditure obligations. This means franchisees must budget for these additional costs when Noodles & Company announces a special promotion. Franchisees should clarify with Noodles & Company what constitutes a "special promotion" and how frequently they can expect such promotions to occur to better plan their marketing budget.
