What This Means (2025 FDD)
According to the 2025 Noodles & Company Franchise Disclosure Document, franchisees must submit marketing and promotional plans and materials to Noodles & Company for approval at least 30 days before their intended use. This requirement does not apply to plans and materials prepared or previously approved by Noodles & Company within the last six months.
Proposed marketing plans or materials are considered approved if Noodles & Company does not disapprove them within 15 days after receiving them. This means that if a franchisee doesn't hear back from Noodles & Company within that 15-day window, they can proceed with their marketing plans.
This approval process allows Noodles & Company to maintain brand consistency and ensure that all marketing efforts align with their overall strategy. Franchisees should factor this timeline into their marketing planning to avoid delays. Additionally, franchisees are required to use marketing materials available from Noodles & Company at their own expense, following the company's specified manner and frequency.
