Within how many days of Mrcool's invoice must a franchisee pay the Supplier Evaluation Fee?

According to Mrcool's 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, a franchisee is required to pay the Supplier Evaluation Fee to Mrcool within 14 days of the date of Mrcool's invoice. This fee is assessed when a franchisee requests Mrcool to consider the approval of a new product, service, equipment, supply, supplier, or distributor not already approved within the Mrcool system.

The Supplier Evaluation Fee is intended to cover Mrcool's costs associated with evaluating, assessing, and testing the proposed product, service, equipment, supply, supplier, or distributor. These costs may include administrative expenses, time spent by Mrcool's internal employees, and fees for independent third parties engaged by Mrcool for evaluation and testing.

It's important to note that even after paying the Supplier Evaluation Fee, Mrcool is not obligated to approve the alternative supplier. Mrcool will notify the franchisee of its approval or disapproval within 60 days of completing all inspections and evaluations. This approval is determined by Mrcool in its reasonable business judgment.
