What This Means (2025 FDD)
According to Mrcool's 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, franchisees must use Mrcool's designated supplier and vendor for online ordering systems. This includes the ability to access and use online, point of sale integrated, web-based, and/or app-based ordering systems. Franchisees may incur usage fees based on a percentage of their processed Gross Sales when utilizing these systems.
This requirement ensures uniformity and integration across all Mrcool franchise locations. By mandating a specific supplier, Mrcool aims to maintain consistency in the quality and functionality of its online ordering platforms. This can help ensure a seamless customer experience and efficient order management across the entire Mrcool system.
For a prospective franchisee, this means they will not have the freedom to choose their own online ordering system or vendor. While this may limit flexibility, it also means that Mrcool has pre-selected a system that it believes best fits its operational needs and brand standards. Franchisees should inquire about the specific usage fees and the percentage of gross sales that will be charged for using the designated online ordering system to fully understand the costs associated with this requirement.
