- (3) Franchisee shall pay all costs and expenses incurred by Franchisee and, those attending training on behalf of Franchisee, in connection with Franchisee's participation in all Training Programs and, satisfaction of Franchisee's Training Program obligations as designated by Franchisor.
- (4) Subject to Franchisor's approval and agreement, Franchisor may offer supplemental training to Franchisee at Franchisee's Center Location or, as elected by Franchisor, remotely through online web based conferencing (hereinafter referred to as "Supplemental Training"). Franchisor, in Franchisors Reasonable Business Judgment, reserves the right to reject or approve of any request by Franchisee for Supplemental Training. What This Means (2025 FDD)
According to Mrcool's 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, franchisees may be required to participate in supplemental training. Mrcool may offer this training at the franchisee's center location or remotely via online web-based conferencing. However, Mrcool reserves the right to approve or reject any request for supplemental training.
If Mrcool agrees to provide supplemental training, the franchisee must pay a supplemental training fee of $899 per trainer per day. In addition to this daily fee, the franchisee is also responsible for reimbursing Mrcool for travel and hotel accommodation expenses incurred by the trainer, if applicable. These supplemental training fees must be pre-paid in advance of the training, upon submission of an invoice from Mrcool.
Mrcool also maintains the right to mandate supplemental training for franchisees or their operating managers if Mrcool determines that the franchisee is not meeting operational standards or when a new operating manager is hired. All individuals attending the training program or supplemental training programs must be approved by Mrcool and must qualify as either an owner or operating manager.
