What This Means (2025 FDD)

According to Mrcool's 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, the franchisee is responsible for all costs and expenses associated with attending the Annual System Conference. This includes travel, meals, and lodging for the franchisee and their personnel.

Even if a franchisee chooses not to attend the Annual System Conference, they are still required to pay the Annual Conference Attendance Fee, unless Mrcool waives the fee for franchisees who do attend. This means that franchisees must budget not only for the direct costs of attending the conference but also for the possibility of paying a fee even if they do not attend.

The Annual System Conference is defined as a conference organized by Mrcool to facilitate networking and education among franchisees. Mrcool determines whether the conference will occur in any given year, as well as the dates, content, and location. The conference will not exceed three consecutive days per calendar year. Franchisees should consider these costs and attendance requirements when evaluating the Mrcool franchise opportunity.
