Mrcool Franchise · 2025 FDDAnswer from 2025 FDD Document
If we approve your request, you may have the option, in addition to signing a Franchise Agreement in the form attached as Exhibit E, to sign the Multi-Unit Development Agreement attached to this Disclosure Document as Exhibit F, to develop and operate multiple Centers. The total number of Centers that you will be required to develop and operate under a Multi-Unit Development Agreement will vary from two to five Centers, as negotiated at the time of signing the Multi-Unit Development Agreement. Each Center must be developed by you within a designated geographic area (the "Development Area") and each Center must be developed and operated under the terms of our then current individual unit Franchise Agreement which may differ from the Franchise Agreement included with this Disclosure Document. Your Multi-Unit Development Agreement will include a development schedule (the "Development Schedule") containing a deadline by which you must have each Center open and operating. Your Development Schedule may vary depending on your Development Area and the number of Centers that you are required to develop.

What This Means (2025 FDD)
According to Mrcool's 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, if a franchisee signs a Multi-Unit Development Agreement, the agreement will include a development schedule. This schedule, called the "Development Schedule", contains the deadline by which each Mrcool Center must be open and operating.
The Development Schedule may vary depending on the franchisee's Development Area and the number of Centers that they are required to develop. The total number of Centers that a franchisee will be required to develop and operate under a Multi-Unit Development Agreement will vary from two to five Centers, as negotiated at the time of signing the Multi-Unit Development Agreement.
Prospective Mrcool franchisees should carefully review the Development Schedule within the Multi-Unit Development Agreement to understand the specific deadlines for opening each Center. This is a critical aspect of the agreement, as failure to meet these deadlines could result in penalties or termination of the agreement. Franchisees should also consider how the Development Area and the number of Centers they commit to will impact the feasibility of meeting the deadlines outlined in the Development Schedule.
