What This Means (2025 FDD)

According to Mrcool's 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, the franchisor determines whether or not an Annual System Conference will occur. The Annual System Conference is defined as a conference that may be established and organized by Mrcool for the purpose of facilitating networking among franchisees and for general education.

The franchisor has the authority to designate and determine if the conference will take place in any given year. If a conference is established, Mrcool also determines the dates, content, and location of the event. The conference will not exceed three consecutive days per calendar year.

As a potential franchisee, it's important to note that attendance costs, including travel, are the responsibility of the franchisee. Furthermore, franchisees may be required to pay an Annual Conference Attendance Fee, even if they do not attend the conference, unless Mrcool waives the fee for those who do not attend.
