- (7) Other than permitting access to employees of the Franchised Business for the purpose of conducting the authorized operations of the Franchised Business, Franchisee shall not permit nor allow any third party to access, utilize or duplicate the Business Management System or the Business Management System Data without Franchisor's prior written consent;

What This Means (2025 FDD)
According to Mrcool's 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, a franchisee is restricted from allowing third-party access to the Business Management System or its data. The only exception to this rule is that a franchisee can permit access to employees of the franchised business for conducting authorized operations.
Otherwise, a Mrcool franchisee must obtain prior written consent from Mrcool before allowing any third party to access, utilize, or duplicate the Business Management System or its data. This restriction is in place to protect the confidential and proprietary information contained within the system.
The franchisee is also responsible for maintaining the security and confidentiality of the Business Management System and its data, taking precautions to prevent unauthorized access or use. This includes keeping the system and data secret and confidential.
