What This Means (2025 FDD)

According to Mr. Sandless's 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, the cost of customer surveys, interviews, and similar initiatives will typically be covered by the Advertising Fund. However, if a Mr. Sandless franchisee's survey results fall below the minimum standards established by the company, the cost of these surveys may be charged directly to the franchisee.

This means that franchisees are expected to maintain a certain level of customer satisfaction, as measured by Mr. Sandless's surveys. If a franchisee's performance is deemed substandard based on these surveys, they will be responsible for covering the costs of the survey program. This creates a direct financial incentive for franchisees to prioritize customer service and maintain high standards in their operations.

Any fees charged to a franchisee for these surveys will be contributed back into the Advertising Fund. This ensures that even when franchisees are penalized for poor survey results, the money is reinvested into marketing and advertising efforts that benefit the entire Mr. Sandless system. This policy encourages franchisees to meet the minimum standards set by Mr. Sandless, as failure to do so will result in additional costs for the franchisee.
