What This Means (2025 FDD)

According to Mr. Sandless's 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, franchisees are not allowed to operate an individual website related to the business or use a URL that includes any variation of the "Mr. Sandless" name or proprietary marks without prior written approval from Mr. Sandless. Mr. Sandless is not required to provide this approval.

Mr. Sandless retains sole discretion and control over any website it establishes to provide information about the Mr. Sandless system, products, and services. Mr. Sandless will act as the webmaster, either directly or through a third party. The costs associated with the development, maintenance, and updating of such a website may be paid for or reimbursed using monies from the Advertising Fund collected under the Franchise Agreement.

These stipulations mean that a Mr. Sandless franchisee has limited control over their online presence and marketing. They must seek approval to establish any independent website and are subject to Mr. Sandless's discretion. This ensures brand consistency and control but may limit a franchisee's ability to implement unique marketing strategies online. Franchisees are also obligated to participate in any system-wide computer network, intranet system, or extranet implemented by Mr. Sandless.
