Before you open your Business, we will:

    1. Review of your grand opening advertising campaign to promote the opening of your Franchised Business. (Franchise Agreement, Section 7.2)

Grand Opening Advertising Campaign:

You must spend at least $1,500 during the seven days before your grand opening and the thirty days following it, to promote the grand opening of the Franchised Business. You must submit your grand opening advertising plan to us for our approval.

You must submit to us for our review, at least 21 days prior to your use, samples of all sales promotional and advertising materials you desire to use. Our failure to approve or disapprove the materials within such 21 day period will be deemed disapproval. You may not use any advertising or promotional materials for which we have has not given our specific, prior written approval.

According to Mr. Sandless's 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, Mr. Sandless does review a franchisee's grand opening advertising campaign before the Mr. Sandless Business opens. As part of the pre-opening obligations, Mr. Sandless will review the grand opening advertising campaign to promote the opening of the franchised business.

Mr. Sandless requires franchisees to spend at least $1,500 on advertising in the seven days before and thirty days following the grand opening. Franchisees are required to submit their grand opening advertising plan to Mr. Sandless for approval.

In addition to the grand opening advertising, franchisees must also conduct local advertising to promote their franchised business in their designated territory, with a minimum spend of $1,500 each month. Franchisees must also submit samples of all sales promotional and advertising materials they intend to use to Mr. Sandless for review at least 21 days before use. If Mr. Sandless fails to approve or disapprove the materials within the 21-day period, the materials are deemed disapproved. Franchisees may not use any advertising or promotional materials without Mr. Sandless's specific, prior written approval.
