ITEM 13 TRADEMARKS

Our President, Daniel J. Prasalowicz is the owner of the Marks and has granted us the right to use the Marks and license to others the right to use the Marks in the operation of a Mr. Sandless outlet in accordance with the System. The Franchise Agreement will license to you the right to operate your Franchised Business under the Mr. Sandless service marks, as described below ("Principal Mark"):

What This Means (2025 FDD)

According to the 2025 Mr. Sandless Franchise Disclosure Document, the trademarks, including the "Mr. Sandless" mark, are central to the franchise system. Mr. Sandless grants franchisees the right to use these marks to operate their franchised business, but this right is contingent upon adhering to the standards and specifications set by Mr. Sandless. These standards are put in place to maintain the quality and uniformity of services across all Mr. Sandless businesses. Franchisees acknowledge that these standards are necessary to maintain the high quality and service expected at all Mr. Sandless locations. The President of Mr. Sandless owns the trademarks and has granted the company the right to license them to others.

To maintain brand standards, Mr. Sandless specifies the use of a standardized vehicle dedicated to the business, which must be silver in color. Franchisees are required to obtain approval for any items or suppliers not already approved by Mr. Sandless, and may incur costs up to $500 for the evaluation of proposed items or suppliers. Mr. Sandless provides standards and specifications for products, services, and equipment through amendments to the Operations Manual or in writing, and may specify particular brand names and model numbers for equipment.

Franchisees agree to comply with the terms of the Franchise Agreement to maintain these standards of quality and service. Upon termination of the Franchise Agreement, franchisees must transfer any interest in websites, social media, software accounts, and telephone listings related to the Mr. Sandless brand to the franchisor. This ensures that the Mr. Sandless brand and its associated trademarks remain under the control of the franchisor, maintaining consistency and protecting the brand's reputation.

Mr. Sandless also has the right to use the Advertising Fund to maximize public recognition of the Proprietary Marks. While the advertising fund will prepare and distribute advertising, every franchisee in the System may not derive the same or similar benefit from this advertising.
