The financial performance figures do not reflect the costs of sales, operating expenses, or other costs or expenses that must be deducted from the gross revenue figures to obtain your net income or profit. You should conduct an independent investigation of the costs and expenses you will incur in operating your Mr. Sandless franchise. Franchisees or former franchisees, listed in the disclosure document, may be one source of this information. There may be other costs and other expenses not identified.
Written substantiation for the financial performance representation will be made available to the prospective franchisee upon reasonable request.
Other than the preceding financial performance representation, Mr. Sandless Franchise LLC does not make any financial performance representations. We also do not authorize our employees or representatives to make any such representations either orally or in writing. If you are purchasing an existing outlet, however, we may provide you with the actual records of that outlet. If you receive any other financial performance information or projections of your future income, you should report it to the franchisor's management by contacting Daniel J. What This Means (2025 FDD)
According to Mr. Sandless's 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, while some Mr. Sandless outlets have achieved certain earnings, there is no assurance that a new franchisee will earn as much. The FDD clearly states that individual results may differ. This is a standard disclaimer in franchise agreements, as a franchisee's success depends on various factors, including their management skills, local market conditions, and adherence to the Mr. Sandless system.
Mr. Sandless provides financial performance representations based on the sales reported by franchisees. For example, the Top Tier (42 locations) reported median monthly earnings were $17,869 or $214,428 gross earnings for the year. However, these figures do not account for the costs of sales, operating expenses, or other costs that a franchisee must deduct to determine net income or profit. The FDD advises prospective franchisees to conduct their own independent investigation of these costs by speaking with current or former franchisees.
It is important to note that Mr. Sandless only makes financial performance representations within Item 19 of the FDD. The company does not authorize employees or representatives to make any other financial performance representations, either orally or in writing. If a prospective franchisee receives any financial performance information outside of Item 19, they are advised to report it to Mr. Sandless's management, the Federal Trade Commission, and the appropriate state regulatory agencies.
