The instructional material we use in the training program is our Operations Manual. We may require you or your employees to attend further training programs if we determine that this is necessary. (Franchise Agreement, Section 4.2). We also have the right to require any subsequent or additional Designated Managers or Technical Managers to attend the initial training program as a condition for managerial employment. (Franchise Agreement, Section 4.1). You must pay for all personal expenses incurred by you and your employees during training.

According to the 2025 Mr. Sandless FDD, the primary instructional material used in the training program is the Operations Manual. Mr. Sandless may also require franchisees or their employees to attend further training programs if deemed necessary.
The Operations Manual contains the policies, procedures, standards, specifications, and methods for operating a Mr. Sandless Business. The Mr. Sandless Operations Manual includes 149 pages. Franchisees are loaned one copy of the Operations Manual.
Mr. Sandless may implement a system-wide area computer network, intranet system, or extranet system. Franchisees may be required to use this system to view portions of the Operations Manual, download approved local advertising materials, and receive training.
