We reserve the right to require you to install a "systems backup solution" which backs up critical data stored in your Computer Equipment using an off-premises storage scheme. At our request, you must provide us with access to your backed up data.

What This Means (2025 FDD)
According to Mr. Sandless's 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, franchisees are required to provide access to their backed up data if requested by Mr. Sandless. Mr. Sandless reserves the right to require franchisees to install a "systems backup solution" that backs up critical data stored on the franchisee's Computer Equipment using an off-premises storage scheme.
Mr. Sandless also has the right to access a franchisee's computer database at any time, at the franchisee's expense. Franchisees must provide Mr. Sandless with any necessary user IDs and/or passwords for this access. Mr. Sandless may access and download all information stored on the franchisee's Computer Equipment, including sales and customer information, without any limit to their right to access and download this data.
Mr. Sandless may use the data downloaded from a franchisee's Computer Equipment in any manner they choose, without providing any compensation to the franchisee. The customer database will remain the property of Mr. Sandless at all times. This level of access and data control is typical in franchise systems, allowing Mr. Sandless to monitor performance, ensure compliance, and leverage data for system-wide improvements.
