What This Means (2025 FDD)

According to Mr. Sandless's 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, if a franchisee wishes to purchase an item or use a supplier that hasn't been approved, they must submit a written request to Mr. Sandless. This request should include all information Mr. Sandless reasonably needs to evaluate the proposed item or supplier. Mr. Sandless will then make a good faith effort to notify the franchisee of their decision within 15 days of receiving the information.

If Mr. Sandless fails to approve the supplier within the 15-day period, it will be considered a disapproval. The franchisee is also responsible for reimbursing Mr. Sandless for the costs associated with evaluating the proposed item or supplier, up to a maximum of $500. Mr. Sandless retains the right to revoke approval of any item or supplier if they no longer meet the company's criteria or serve the needs of the franchise network.

Mr. Sandless will communicate any changes to the lists of approved supplies and suppliers in writing, such as via email or updates to the Operations Manual. These lists are subject to change at any time, so franchisees need to stay informed of any updates. This process ensures that Mr. Sandless maintains quality and uniformity across its franchise system by controlling the sources of products and services used by franchisees.
